Plate Earthing
Sturdax Plate Earthing is a conventional grounding solution in which a conductive metal plate is installed vertically below ground level and connected to the electrical installation through a suitable earthing conductor.
The large surface area of the electrode provides effective contact with the surrounding soil for dissipation of fault and leakage currents. Plate earthing systems are available in Copper and Hot-Dip Galvanised configurations to suit different project, environmental and material requirements.
Copper Plate Earthing
Manufactured from copper for applications requiring high electrical conductivity, reliable current dissipation and good corrosion resistance.
HDGI Plate Earthing
Manufactured using galvanised steel for a strong, durable and economical conventional grounding solution.
- Large soil-contact surface area
- Copper and HDGI options
- Strong mechanical construction
- Suitable for conventional grounding
- Project-specific conductor options
- Compatible with earthing chambers
